&lt;p&gt;Phone, laptop, IDE, browser, note-taking app, messaging app. If there&amp;rsquo;s a dark mode toggle, I&amp;rsquo;m flipping it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&amp;rsquo;s not for any scientific reason. I just think it looks good.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Light text on a dark background has this feeling of &amp;ldquo;I&amp;rsquo;m doing something serious.&amp;rdquo; White background with black text feels like staring at a Word document. &lt;p&gt;Spectra is a Hugo theme with a sci-fi aesthetic — in dark mode there&amp;rsquo;s a subtle glow effect, cards blur-to-focus as they scroll into view, and the overall vibe is clean with a hint of futurism.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2 id="why-spectra"&gt;Why &amp;ldquo;Spectra&amp;rdquo;&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Spectra is the plural of spectrum, as in the spectrum of light. The name fits because the design revolves around light: accent glows on a dark background, gradient navigation bars, borders that light up on hover.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
